When you are unsure of who you are,
When life is still a confusion,
Look about you and observe your life.
Who walks with you,
Who holds your hand,
Who is there in a crisis.
Not the condemnation of others,
but the support of ones who love you,
the people who take your side,
the unlikely arbiter of truth.

If you walk with tetchy souls,
If the journey through life is made harder
by the one by your side,
Loving them unconditionally will attract to you,
the good in them, lighting a spark.

Or it will not, and then decisions need to be
made whether your life is enhanced or unbalanced by their presence.
Usually we drift into and out of relationships,
knowing who to hang onto and who to let go.

Your relationships mirror that usually unconscious decision and will be a picture of
where you are at any moment.

So nurture and love your fellow travelers,
because as much as you love them, they will love and support you.
Be positive, loving, a friend, and that is what you will be surrounded by,
A glorious dance of knowing each other.
