Dear Readers,
Many months ago I published, A Soldier's Story, based upon a private
session I did for a young soldier. I didn't expect to hear from him
again, and in all honesty I wasn't sure that he would live a long
life - having offered sessions with Gaia for over fifteen years now,
my ability to determine life-force as a quotient of our make-up is
highly developed. I was pleased to hear from him again recently, and
to have had more time to become further acquainted with him.
Once again he agreed to allow me to share his session with you, with
the same stipulations as last time: Questions of a deeply personal
nature have been omitted, as have any references as to his identity
or location.
Our time together was refreshing and invigorating for both of us.
I found his questions and comments afterward simple, but profound
in their seeking. Unlike most of us, his sources of information are
very limited at this time. Gaia considered this a plus! I hope that
you will find his questions as endearing and refreshing as I did.

Thank you for talking with me again. We have spoken in other moments
as well. You do not remember them as I do, but you can access those
memories if you choose to. Non-verbal communication between realms
and dimensions is both common and economical, especially where trauma
or other forms of sensory deprivation prevents other forms of communication.
I was hoping to talk about trauma. I don't feel like I'm the same
person who spoke with you last time, but I'm not sure what the difference
is. There is always a difference where expansion of the mind and heart
are concerned. The mind and the heart can appear as opposing forces
on a neutral battlefield when resistance is present. You have placed
yourself upon a physical battlefield as well as a spiritual one; this
can certainly be a traumatic experience.
Yeah, well, the last thing I thought I'd find out here was God or
religion, much less this many different versions of them. I want to
be right with God, and on the winning side. Does that make any sense?
You assume that God has an agenda that includes winning. That is an
undeveloped premise. God does not belong to a side, to a country or
to a religion. What if God belonged to Ancient Rome and all that it
stood for? When Rome fell, did God also fall? Did God simply move
to another civilization and announce God-ship over that? This is the
way of lesser gods, kings, and tyrants - it is not the way of All
That Is.
Then why are there so many names for God? Isn't it because God responds
differently to different people? The names of God are like descriptions
of different facets as seen through a prism, they are limited accounts
of lesser truths attempting to describe greater ones.
Which is the most
correct name for God? None of them. The word "God" is
but a mispronunciation of "Yod" and "Vod" and
both of these are aspects of another word that is formed when
emanations of Light become Sound. These words emanate from a
language that is not spoken; it is the symbolic language of word-light.
So if we cannot name God or even speak his name, how do we know he
is our God? Because there is only one God, one truth, and one eternal
moment form which all things are realized. There is nothing else and
no one else.
That doesn't sound like enough. There should be more. That is why
man created religions and gods that judge them. Many of the ancients,
like you today, wanted more. The simple was too simple and there was
a preference for the more complex. Today you have diversity, and yet
there is a constant struggle for one religion to overcome, devour
or consume the next.
But doesn't one religion at least express more truths than another?
Doesn't one approximate the original truths more than the others?
They are all approximations. They all contain some truth. They all
take exception from each other, and therefore contribute to separation
and segregation where humanity is concerned.
What about what my sister calls the New Age? Is there any more truth
in that compared to the older, more traditional religions? No. The
New Age is no different than the other religions. It teaches, preaches,
and prays as all religions do. It calls itself by other names and
considers its generations special and unique. It understands its tasks
to be more difficult than others and believes its rewards will be
great accordingly. This is but another interpretation of separation,
it is less than whole in its premise.
My sister says that the channel you speak though writes for a variety
of publications that would be considered New Age. Is that true? Was
that your idea or your channel's idea? Mine, hers and both. It is
a partnership designed to serve a dual purpose, for in the expression
of duality there is always a movement toward the center.
But if you don't agree with the New Age or with the other religions,
why do you write for them? I do not write for them. I write for you.
I write for the consciousness of humanity. I write to awaken its unconsciousness.
I write for the kingdom of man and for the other kingdoms as well.
I write and speak and whisper, but I do not shout.
If it would make a difference, why wouldn't you shout? Because one
will strive to almost any length to hear a whispered wisdom, but the
shout was designed as an alert to peril. The mind quickly forgets
what is shouted. That is why arguments among men come to nothing when
words are shouted at one another; the mind is quick to anger and the
heart is quick to wound. Both become hardened much too quickly. It
is more difficult to unmake than to make.
Are you saying that I'm not going to find God? No, not at all. I
am saying that you must first find truth, and that in truth you will
find God.
Where do you suggest I start? Exactly where you are.
Excuse me, but I'm in hell. If you really are Mother Earth, then
I'm living in your armpit. Every day I wonder if it will be my last
day and sometimes, I got to tell you, the thought is not a bad one.
Then as they say, there's not a moment to lose! The armpit you live
in was once an inspiration for all to behold. Scented gardens spoke
the name of those who visited, and many there were who called it the
jewel in the crown. It is not so now, but one day it may be again.
You are not living in hell, but you are in the dwelling place of distress,
sorrow, anguish, misery, grief and fear. Each of these human characteristics
has taken up residence there. The land awaits purification and those
who have placed themselves there, whether temporarily or permanently,
are part of the process.
Even if I wanted to start my search for truth and God here, how would
I go about it? Begin with the history of the country and its people.
Go back as far as you can until the names changes and even how the
numbers are ordered change. Ask questions. When you get answers begin
the next round of questions. Listen to the stories and the myths.
There is more truth hidden within ancient myths than there is within
current science. Be willing to know nothing and to learn everything.
Start from scratch. Allow history to rewrite itself for you. Discard
beliefs. Investigate mysteries. Do not write conclusions.
That is not how most of us spend our days here. What will others
think? They will think that you are unsatisfied with your current
reality.
Are they satisfied with theirs? No, but for different reasons than
you. Not everyone wonders about the origin of God. Some are quite
satisfied to wonder who will win the next baseball game. Please do
not think that your questions are greater or lesser than others. Humanity's
questions are not judged as to merit; a question is an open thought.
It is better to have an open thought in terms of a question than a
closed thought that becomes an opinion.
Can I keep all of this to myself for now, or do I need to share it
with anyone? You may do as you like. You are entering a time of exploration
that will carry you forwards and backwards over centuries. You will
become many different people as part of this journey. Some of them
will live in you and through you if you allow them to.
Is that dangerous? I know that must seem like a stupid question,
especially since I am exposed to danger every day. But this is new
to me and I'm not sure what to make of it. Is not dangerous to expose
the mind to different truths. That being said, it may feel threatening
at times, especially to the part of the mind that enjoys its belief
systems. The mind thinks it knows many things and feels uncomfortable
when it is proven wrong. That is why it is important to have an open
mind. There are fewer struggles this way. Why work hard to pry open
one door when there are so many others that lead within?
If I take you up on this idea, how will I know if I am on the right
track? What if I end up even more confused than I am now? It is not
bad to be confused. A confused mind is an opportunity for consciousness
to develop. Confusion leads to clarity. Exploration leads to discovery.
You may not get it all right but you cannot go wrong. Your mind will
suffer as it becomes exposed to controversy and it may rebel in the
process. Nurture the process and it will guide you beyond these moments.
Can we talk about a few other things? There is a specific reason
I wanted to speak with you. I need to know the truth about something
that happened out here. I wouldn't know whom else to ask. It would
seem that the search for truth is all encompassing. It is an interesting
effect that the search for truth in one area of life instigates a
search in all. Life is all-inclusive. To create life upon earth is
to imagine it elsewhere, and to imagine it elsewhere one must live
fully here. Your need to discover the truth regarding the issue that
has prompted our interaction precedes you by many weeks.
You already knew what I was going to ask? Do you know all my questions
before they are asked? Pain and suffering can be controlled upon the
surface, but I am well accustomed to looking beyond the surface. It
is difficult to remain dispassionate about the loss of something (or
someone) that is quite valuable. I am aware of your concerns and of
your individual path, which includes many of your questions. Even
before you ask for counsel, the universe rearranges itself to be of
use to you. I (Gaia) am part of that process. Everything that is an
extension of your life path exists within your energy field, something
akin to a circle of influence, do you see? Everything that exists
within the field of probabilities exists just beyond the first field,
near enough that you can feel it and call it into your proximate field.
Just beyond this field is the field of possibilities, which is also
within (not without) your ability to draw the desired subject or experience
into your awareness.
Okay. I sort of get that. So you already know that I lost my best
friend out here? Can you tell me where he is and if he's okay? He
is not far from you, and still within the earth's influence. The veils
that surround him are still very thick. Those who have only recently
crossed the barriers between one dimension and the next are limited
in their ability to express themselves. The sensory organs must adjust
to a lighter environment, and at least some of the density of the
third dimension must dissipate before they are able to communicate.
Somnambulism, or sleepwalking best describes his current state of
awareness.
What will happen to him next? Where will he go? Why did he let go?
Before he can go anywhere or do anything he must become aware of himself.
He must become aware of the journey he has most recently undertaken.
He is not alone in this endeavor; no one is unless they choose to
be. Many choices await him, but he must first recover his awareness.
He is still bathed in earthlight, which means that his identity is
still associated with his most recent life on earth. This will gradually
fall away an allow him to see more clearly. The process is always
the same but is still unique to the individual. The more evolved the
soul the more quick the recovery and transition. He let go because
it was appropriate for him to do so. Approximately fifty percent of
those who place themselves upon a battlefield choose to leave their
body there. He was among this group.
Am I among that group too? I cannot answer that for you, at least
not yet. It is best to remember that the choice remains with you.
Why can't you answer that question? I thought we could talk about
anything? Yes, we may talk about many things, but there must be a
contextual understanding of a subject, otherwise the answer itself
will be of little use to you. The answer to this question already
exists within you in a place that is protected and in safekeeping.
It is not secret so much as it is sacred. The answer is revealed when
approached in a sacred manner and when there is purpose in the knowing.
It seems to me that it would be purposeful for me to know that right
now. If my chances of living through this were only fifty percent,
I would live differently if I knew what the outcome would be. Exactly.
You would live differently if you knew the future, but you would live
the same without this knowledge. If you live purposefully and by choice,
you will live in the past, the present and the future - you would
not live differently, but you would not be the same. The sacred is
no more than the experience of being fully present in the now.
Did my friend know he was going to die? No, he did not. He expected
to live through the trauma of his wound. He did not recognize it as
a mortal wound. He lingered in his unconsciousness a bit too long,
savoring the peace there and attributing his response to an anesthetic.
He was and is still surprised though no longer shocked.
Does he have regrets? Almost all beings have regrets. He is no exception.
Interestingly, most regrets are based upon truths that were not communicated
rather than moments that moments not experienced. Age or youth is
rarely taken into consideration, mostly because time is irrelevant.
Can you help me to communicate with him? I cannot. In the first place
he is still unable to do so and in all likelihood will not develop
the sensitivity to do so, and in the second, my agreement and partnership
with the channel does not extend to that realm or form of communication.
Why? Why wouldn't she help with this kind of communication? Isn't
it her job or her path or her gift to do this?Hers is the path of
service, which includes service to humanity. But it is for each one
to choose the creative expression of that path. She chooses to concentrate
upon an awakening humanity, knowing that there are others who may
be better suited for these tasks. A gift does not obligate its use.
If you asked her or told her to do it, would she? You words or instructions
are more important, so they should take precedence, right? No. My
words and deeds are equal to the moment, just as yours are. The laws
of nature are not as arbitrary as the laws of men. All purposeful
things are based upon cooperation; even the relationship between a
tree, its roots and the soil that supports it is based upon cooperation.
While these laws can certainly be violated or reinterpreted, the result
is always less than what one would hope for.
I do not want our time to end, but I know that it has to sometime.
Can you give me something to look forward to? Look forward to knowing
what and who you are. If you re-imagine your origins you will discover
that you can remake yourself in a different image. That is certainly
something to look forward to. See the world around you with ancient
eyes rather than current ones. Your battlefield is a new one but the
battle is an ancient one. There are no weapons with which to fight
that have not already been imagined. Perhaps a war that is ageless,
timeless and can never be won holds a different message altogether.
