NOTE: I began writing Shala’s Take in the summer of 1999 and each month since has been an education and grand journey for me. In keeping with the constant growth and Ascension preparation that we are all participating in – I have decided to change the name of my article to “The Ascending Cosmic Pulse by Shala Mata starting in January 2006. Welcome to 2006 and Happy New Year to all. The year of 2005 brought us many challenges and gifts as we navigated the ebbs and flows of very powerful energy shifts and change. The momentum of that energy is flowing with a strong current as we continue to peel away the layers that are complete, allowing us to begin 2006 anew.

2005 was numerically “7” and known as the year of alchemy a time of change. 2006 is numerically “8”. The meaning of “8” is abundance, infinity and manifestation. As I mentioned last month there is more 5th dimensional energy flowing to our beloved planet than ever before – when in alignment with this energy our lives will flow easily and manifestation will become our primary nature. Of course if we choose resistance and hang on to “old” fears, ego, habits etc…. then we will feel less than excellent. Our existence will be a struggle from moment to moment. This is our choice.

SPIRITUAL STEWARDSHIP

The truest meaning of stewardship is “taking responsibility for the survival and well being of something precious entrusted to one. “ There is nothing more precious that our physical body, our planet and her spiritual path of ascension.

Spiritual Stewardship is taking that responsibility for all levels of our existence. Our physical body, emotional body, mental body & spirit body, all require tender care and nurturance to allow for ascension preparation at the deepest core. Stewardship also speaks beyond the individual to the collective, where we cease to align with the polarity of “owning” and “this is mine” to the more multi-dimensional aspect of “becoming one” and “this is ours”. Our beloved planet will continue to undergo tremendous change and shifts – we will be at the forefront of navigating that energy. The more in alignment we are with “stewardship” the more ease and grace can be our expression during these monumental shifts.

2006 will catalyze the energies to further promote increased frequency, vibration and spiritual awareness. With these gifts comes the responsibility to share our wisdom and knowledge, the techniques we are learning and the letting go of ego and old ways of manipulation through fear. Our weather patterns will continue to manifest change and this will hopefully bring to the forefront much needed alternative sources of energy that will allow further “stewardship” of our precious planet in harmless ways.

Our physical bodies will undergo tremendous demands as the frequency gage continues to rise. Vibratory influences affect us on many levels of our physical being. They can encourage great healing and at the same time cause illness. Staying in resonance with the oscillating energy of the physical body will allow quicker transition time for energy uploads and less discomfort as old layers cellular memory are released and cleared. All matter vibrates at different frequencies. These frequencies are affected by sound, colour, light and the food we eat.

For the most part our genetic pre-disposition governs 5% of our body experience – what we do everyday governs the other 95%. It is imperative to look at our diets, our environment, and our thoughts in the maintenance of these amazing vehicles.

Sound will play an even great part in our healing and comfort over the coming year. We will learn to focus more closely on the “overtones” and “undertones” of sound. Tuning forks are a great way to re-balance our body and to “hear” the subtle tonal changes that come with expanded consciousness. Listening to sacred chants, crystal bowls, new-age music all support this expansion and help hold the increased vibration more firmly in the body.

Physical ascension preparation will also be a constant task during 2006. We will discuss this more as the month’s progress and the multi-dimensional energies support further amplification. It not just our physical body that requires this preparation - but all of our “four” bodies.

We have upon us an incredible year of manifesting a new mantle of energy expression in our lives, weaving together all our past efforts and accomplishments into a sparkling new cloak of our soul’s destiny and light to wear with great courage and dignity.

JANUARY 2006

We enter January on the heels of the very powerful 13th New Moon of 2005 which occurred on Dec 30th. New Moons are always a time of setting intent for the “new” – so this auspicious New Moon one day before the final day of the year was indeed potent.

Setting our personal “intents” for the coming year is a common practice at the beginning of January and a very important place to begin to navigate the energy you will manifest in your lives. On the whole January will feel a little challenging at times – nothing new on that front.

As we review the past experiences of 2005 the “old” gives way to new ideas, concepts and ways to bring in the new. January’s energy will encourage the letting go of whatever is old and needing to be released, however should you choose to hang on this month’s energy will make you feel uncomfortable and upset. It can go either way and right out of the gate this month we are being prodded to cease resistance and to trust in the benevolent energy of our loving universe.

Start thinking outside of the box – whatever that may be and “trust” that the new is safe, that you are being encouraged to navigate this with ease and grace.

January is often a time for starting new exercise regimes, diets, relationship dialogues etc….whatever it is that you want to change and manifest – the energy of January will support that.

We will continue to see weather patterns changing all over the planet this month as the energy of 2006 integrates into the grids and focal points of energy within the bio-sphere. Clarifying our own “inner storms” this month will help support the planetary expression of change.

Always we are supported greatly from our celestial brothers and sisters and the stars. From Shamanic Astrology comes important focus for January.

Jan 14, 2006 - Full Moon 1:49 am PST (16 Cancer) is highlighting the mysteries of responsible nurturing that comes from being willing to be conscious of our personal needs (i.e. resting when tired, eating when hungry and other activities that promote health and well being) and the needs of those around us in ways that are supportive to all concerned. This includes releasing addictions to controlling outcome and the need to have others be a certain way. Often the best way to support others needs is to give them the space to figure out what is best for them on their own. Focusing on our own needs and desires is helpful. Accepting what IS for now (see Jan 2) supports healthy self-nurturing and that in turn supports responsibly nurturing of others. (link)

Jan 29, 2006 - New Moon in Aquarius at 6:16 am PST marking the Chinese New Year that always begins on the Aquarius New Moon. This is the year of the Fire Dog or Red Dog. Any New Year’s point especially at a New Moon is a time for planting seeds or clarifying and energizing intentions. (link)

As we ride the energy of January I am reminded of the Toltec Wisdom – The Four Agreements. These words set the intention beautifully for January and the entire year 2006.

Speak with Integrity Say only what you mean Avoid using the word to speak against yourself, or gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of love and truth

DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY

Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, and their own dreams. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS

Find the courage to ask questions and express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can, to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement you can completely transform your life.

ALWAYS TO YOUR BEST
