Two days ago I found a feather on the door mat, in the garage, leading
to the house where we enter. I thought, this is an odd place to find
a feather? Perhaps it blew in?
This morning I awakened to find another feather on the rug by my
bathroom sink. I knew it was a sign from God but what did these feathers
represent and why did they appear at this time and place? What does
this mean, I ask?
How does a feather
get into the house while we are sleeping? Where do they come
from?
Birds, they come
from birds. Birds are God’s creatures who
can fly between the two worlds. Between the heavens and the earth.
Might these feathers represent the balance between the spiritual and
the physical realm? Are we being prepared to cross over from
the one world and into the other?
We are spiritual
beings in a physical expression and we have
these glorious angels who are sent from God and remain by
our side throughout our experience in the physical. Their feet
never touch the ground. They are here to guide us, protect us and
speak to us when we acknowledge and invite them into our world.
They remain with us all the days of our life. And when we leave our
physical body they are the bright light that we see that will embrace
us, take us into their loving wings and guide us home when we
acknowledge their presence.
My son asked me if the Angels can walk through walls, concluding
that these feathers were hand carried on the wings of our angels and
placed for us to see. I assured him they could indeed do this. Still,
what is the message they wish to bring with this gift/sign?
When the world
is fighting, in struggle and chaos the birds
can fly by, untouched by man’s misguided intentions. They are
free to fly above and away to another place. With their
wings they may escape danger and remain safe and unharmed by
man. They do not fear for what they shall eat or drink for the Earth
provides all they need to survive. Sometimes they land on our window
sill and look at us as if they have a story to tell.
If we were to
listen we would know that they are here to remind
us that there are two worlds we must learn to live in and balance.
The spiritual and the physical world both exist simultaneously yet
they are separated by an invisible veil. We are of the spiritual,
in the physical and we are not to forget which is real. One is real,
the other is an illusion. However without our conscious alignment to “God
Source” the physical world may appear to be that
which is real and the spiritual can seem to be the illusion.
When we are faced
with the present challenges of life we must remember that just like
the angel who walked through the walls of the house to deliver these
feathers, we too can walk through any walls to deliver truth. Our
home is our sacred place and before we enter
and when we leave we must remember to align and cleanse our spirits.
We need to remain cleansed and pure in body, mind and spirit so
when the going gets tough we can spread our wings and fly free like
the Eagle. Birds of a feather, flock together! They fly with the season,
for a reason by Diving Guidance and they will always know the
way home.
I shall gather the feathers and place them on the alter and give
thanks for the message they bring. I shall remember I am in this world
but I am not of this world. And when times are challenging I shall
turn to my Source and the Angels will embrace me in their loving wings
and lift my feet from the ground that I walk, carrying me to a safe
place where I may rest.
Let us do our best to remind others who are lost to turn to
their God within and they too shall be carried by the wings
of their Heavenly Messengers to a better place. We shall not fear
and we shall not doubt because God has sent us these
angels to remind us what is REAL and TRUE and that we will
never again be lost or forget our way home.
Today, you have received the sign of a feather. Birds of a feather,
flock together!
In Love and Light,
