(In
this message I refer to God as “He” or ”Him”.
The use of the pronouns he, she, him or her seems better
than referring to God as “It”. I wish to state that
God is not of gender. God encompasses all!)
Catholic, Protestant, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist or spiritual
Guru, regardless of what you believe, what it all comes down to in
a nutshell is, you either know Him or your don’t!
In the times we
are living one may question, will we go
on to live and die on Earth? Will the Earth really perish and
will we be lifted into the New Jerusalem? Will God come down through
the clouds for all to see and hear? Will we turn our backs on Him or
will we bow down in our humbleness? Is Jesus man or God? Will
our names be written in the book of life? Will we really ascend
into this place called Heaven?
If 2012 is the
end of this great cycle on Earth will this be the time when we meet
our maker and are judged for our works, or
will 2012 come and go without incident? Do any of us really
know when this day will come? Have we altered the fate of
this great planet in raising our vibration and consciousness to
transcend to a higher dimension where the old world will pass
away and the new world will arrive without having to
go through the trials and tribulations of the last days on Earth?
Can we transcend this place and time without accepting Jesus, on our
own, ourselves alone? Can we enter the gates by acknowledging
and claiming to love and serve God yet denying Jesus?
What matters is,
we either know God or we don’t! If we
are honoring God in all that we do we will rise above anything and
everything. If we do not acknowledge and accept Him as our Source we
may find ourselves shut out, cut off, and disowned. It does
not mean we will cease to exist. It means we will exist without the
love, support, assistance and grace of our “parent(s)”.
Parents do sometimes disown their disobedient children.
You can be a good
person, live a clean life and do “good” works,
but if you are not doing it for the glory of God you are separating
yourself from the backing and blessings that come with your connection
to your Divine Family. Without acknowledging and giving credit
to your “parents” you are dishonoring them in the
glory of their creation of “you”. Your parents
brought you into this world. In all of your life’s work, you
must not forget to honor them for the life they have given unto
you.
If you deny your
roots, you are cutting yourself off from the the
family who loved you, provided for you and gave you the opportunity
to experience life, express your free will and to serve mankind. One
of the ten commandments is to honor your father and mother. We
honor our mother and father and glorify them in all that we are and
all that we do. Without them, we would not be here. When we do not
give them the respect that they deserve we shame them. If you
have turned your back to them they may turn their back to you.
Jesus came with
the message, we must come to the Father
through Him, in order to have eternal life. He claimed He
was the way, the light and the truth. If you do not believe this
now, will you believe this when He comes? Will you know God when he
comes? If you deny Him, He said He will deny you. Sounds like
a stubborn parent to me? But is this not the way of most parents?
This does not mean that they do not love you, it means that they respect
your free will and are willing to let you go if this is what
you choose. Is this what you choose?
In the many possible
scenarios presented to us regardless of
what we believe, what will happen will happen and we
are either prepared for it, or not. If you have turned your
back on God, will He turn his back to you? If you are
serving God, your name will be written in the book of life.
If you are not serving God, you may choose to surrender
and begin to serve Him and your name will be added to the book
of life. Your decision is not one to be motivated
by fear. It is a decision to make from love. Do you love Him
or deny Him? Do you accept Him or reject Him?
Even though we
are all children of God, we all know children
who have grown up, left home and denied their family from where they
came? To honor your mother and father is to honor God in His essence and
your home of origin. To honor your parents is a step in
encouraging us to honor God, the Father of all and from
whom we originally came.
In these families
where the children have gone astray and broken all ties to their
parents do the parents let go? Do they honor the decision of their
children and allow them to go on their own or do they force them
to stay in the confines of the family denying them their free will?
In their life experiences they may choose to return to their family
for love and support and the family usually
has an open door upon their return, welcoming them
back with love and forgiveness.
Letting your children
go and honoring their will can be difficult for parents but it is
the wise parent who allows their children to choose their own path
in life. If they have chosen to honor the parents
then the parents will honor them. If they choose to deny their
parents then they are left to their own and the parents will not be
there to assist unless they come back with an open heart and ask to
be forgiven. Just as we choose our parents and the families we come
into to, we also choose to honor them or not. It is the same with
God. We choose to honor Him or not.
As it is in our
families it is with God and His children. He
will not interfere with your free will. Our parents may try but we
forgive them for not knowing. God understands the importance in
our having free will, for He gave it to us and loves us enough
to let us go if we choose. And He always welcomes us back if we choose
to come to Him, with love and forgiveness. His door has
always been open to us to return.
But now, in this time of transition, isn’t it possible
that this door may be closed when and if we do decide to return?
If we have denied His many offers to receive the key
to the front door before, could the day come when it may
be too late where His door may be closed to us forever?
He offered us a key, told us what was going to happen and told us
how to get home but still some of us choose not to believe Him, refusing his
directions and the key. Is it possible that this may be what everyone
has been trying to tell us? Isn’t this what Jesus was saying?
Is the time prevailing the motivation for the “rush” to
get this point across? Could there actually be a window of opportunity
that may end?
In the Christian
doctrine, this is the message that comes through clearly. Other
faiths may state it differently or not at all. If Jesus is God,
and you know and love God then you already know Jesus.
You already hold the key whether or not you have made this
distinction because, Jesus is God. If you honor God then
you also honor Jesus even if you have not made the connection
between the two. You cannot honor one without the other because they
are ONE! A simple misunderstanding many have here. You do not need
to accept the entire Christian doctrine in order to make this
one correction in your understanding.
If our home on
Earth truly is dying we will either go home with
our Creator or we will not. The trinity is the Father, Son and
Holy Ghost. It is called the trinity because it is the three
aspects of God. Jesus is God who came in the body of man
and the Holy Spirit is our God within that we receive when we
choose to honor and serve God. All three are God in expression.
So however you perceive God, in understanding this trinity you can merge
with God when you accept that Jesus is God, and
receive the Holy Spirit, which is your personal connection to
God. This is your power, in your “love of God”! This is your
Divine connection to Source! This is your passage and key into
the gates of Heaven.
When you invite God into your life you are opening
the door to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, the God within.
And God within will reveal himself to you when you seek
Him. Only when you seek, will you find. And when you ask you will
receive! This is how you come to know Him! Until you know
him, continue to believe and continue to seek and you will find! This
He promises! If you do not consciously invite Him in you
can know “of” Him but you will not “know” him.
All He asks in
return is to give thanks to Him and to give credit to Him for all that you may manifest and create. Why? To acknowledge your
Source gives others the opportunity to choose to come to know
Him as well.
Do you know how
many people have denied the presence of God
because they do not believe that He can actually dwell with them?
It is written, but do they see? If they feel they are not worthy
or deserving to receive they will continue to turn to others
that they deem worthy, denying their Oneness with God. They are
not able to comprehend what it means to receive or
commune with the Holy Spirit directly. Many have it, yet they are
afraid to use it. The doubt will remain until they begin to
use it and come to know Him personally.
In all of this
controversy in a world of many different
beliefs what it all comes down to in the end is, you either know
God or you don’t. To believe is good, but it may not be enough
to carry you through these times we are living. If your are separated
from your “man of God” what will you do if he or
she is not there to guide you? If you have received the Holy
Spirit, use it! If you have not received the Holy Spirit, ask
and you will receive. It is time to learn to commune directly!
Belief is not
knowing, it is an assumption in faith that leaves room for doubt.
To “know” is to rise above all doubt.
Come to know God and do not worry about what may come. You
will know what you need to know when you need to know it! You will
never be alone or fearful again because God dwells within
you. Faith is unwavering in “knowing”.
