The Old School:
When we were little
children our education was learned and guided by our “teachers”. We went to school to learn the ABC’s
of life. We learned to read, write and work with numbers. What we
perceived in our world and our understanding of the “school
of life” was guided by the belief system of the ones we called
our teachers and the belief system of those who taught before
them.
Our teachers were our parents, our older siblings, friends in the
community and family members. Then there was a select group of men
and women who dedicated their lives to the classrooms to teach in
our schoold throughout the world.
In these schools
we learned that we must raise our hands and ask permission to go
to the bathroom, to wait our turn, speak only when spoken to and
how to get along with our classmates and peers. We alse were taught
that there is a right way and a wrong way and we were encouraged
to the “right way”. There
was little room for individual expression.
Occasionally we were asked to write a story where we were given permission
to create and express our ideas and beliefs from within. The teacher
then reviewed our creation and passed judgment, in the form of a grade.
And from this big letter, in red ink, at the top of our paper we were
either supported in our creation or shot down and placed into a category
where one may feel his ideas were not valid or valued.
The young studens
who received the mark of “D” or “F” were
forced to take a look at their work and encouraged to re-evaluate
or reconstruct his thought process or means of expression. Some
managed to adjust and bring up their level of performance
to receive the higher grades. Some did not.
After roughly twelve years of this old traditional system of learning
the student, based on grades he received, either moved up to a higher
form of education by going into a college or university or he was
forced by society to take a low paying job and to be of service in
a way where decisions were made for him by others. His light dimmed
and his stuggle began, for he had come to accept that he was stuck
in this menial rold for the remainder of his days.
For those who
entered into the higher educational system, they went on to explore
new ideas and learned new ways to contribute and comform to the
integral part of society. These students who were carefully sifted
through the first twelve years of school, who were able to adapt
and comform to the structured “pedagogy”,
upon graduation, were placed in the positions where decisions
were made for masses. These students were the only ones who were
allowed to make the way for our future and were respected and deemed
the leaders of our world.
Pedagogy: (Methods of Teaching)
In this old system of learning, there were many students who
fell through the cracks and were cast out of the mainstream.
Amazingly, there were a few who managed to somehow come out of the system
with a sense of self and would find a place where they could create and
contribute to society in a positive and constructive way.
These of whom I speak, may have been the artists, the designers and entrepreneurs
who found themselves in the role of directors and leaders
of these “special
programs” designed to assis and to mentor those who fell through
the system at an earlier age. This group of students were previously
deemed the “worker bees” in this life experience but
rose above the walls of limitation.
With a little
luck, a few of these “strong and courageous worker
bees” previously deemed lesser then, went go on to a create
new ways of teaching and developed createive methods to teach our
children that drastically differed from the old conventional methods
of teaching. And this new group of teachers were able to discover
the many gifts of these once “castaways” and began to
bring out these gifts and talents from within these students by acknowledging
the multiple intelligences in all of God’s children. For these
children were encouraged to experience and learn through outward
bound and expeditionary learning rather than the books that
were once written by others.
A New Paradigm:
It is definitely
a time of change in our world of education. It is a glorious transition
in our society where there will no longer be those who are cast
out of the mainstream. We now have a new method of teaching where
all children may be nurtured and supported in their own unique ways.
This allows them to develop their own individual strengths and receive
the encouragement necessary to go on to create and become leaders
of “themselves” in
this world that is so rapidly changing. Each and every child
has something of VALUE to share with the world and to contribute
to mankind.
When we can move
away from the concept that we are created by man and begin to understand
the true source from where we were originally created, we begin
to discover the “God within”. Our true
teacher where all information can be easily accessed and absorbed
in our own time and in our own way. For all studentss who are able
to experience this “new school” where one relies on the
God within, will find that this new way of learning is a simple
and trusted method from which all education, everyone has the
ability to learn and grow and to make a valuable contribution to society.
In this new paradigm,
each and every student will be valued and considered equal. And
as a result of this new way of learning we will begin to come into
balance with ourselves, our brothers and sisters and the world in
which we are living. As we practice going within for guidance, we
will discover how each and everyone of us has a very important role
as “one individual piece of the whole”.
We will find that all guidance that comes from our Source
within is Divine.
A New Age of Children:
The children that are incarnating in the world today are different
than the children past. Have you noticed their eyes? Their big beautiful
eyes that speak to you before they have learned to speak? Can you
see the wisdom from lifetimes past that they bring with them into
this new life experience?
Have you noticed
that they have a will so strong that they simply refuse to co-operate
with the old traditional ways of discipline and rules set before
them? They will no longer sit down and accept what they are told.
They have a mind of their own, a determination that is never ending
and a sensitivity and compassion for the Earth and all of God’s creatures. They have a “knowing” that
may be very different from our existing truth. There is no more “status
quo”, no more fule of thumb and no more a simple gage that determines
the “norm”
These children are our teachers! Yes, we must all go back to school
and learn a new way for this new world in which we are living. We
need to become comfortable with the changes that are occuring and
learn to be more flexible and open to a new way of thinking. It is
time to let go of the old and to welcome the new as we learn from
these beautiful, precious children.
The New School:
Many of these “special children” arrived in the 70’s
and are now grown. They have managed to survive the strict regimen
and barriers placed before them and have risen to places in
society where they can lead us into this new age. They are
referred to as the Indigo children. They have long awaited this
time in our evolutionary process where their presence is welcomed
because we have finally reached the critical mass where we are ready
to unfold a new way of being. The old way is no longer working and
we are gently being nudged to seek a new level of understanding.
Now that Indigo children have fought the battles, rebelled and paved
the way for change we are seeing the presence and arrival of a new
wave of children, The Crystal children. They Crystal children have
come into this world with their memory intact and their gifts from
above. They are vibrating at a higher frequency that allows them the
opportunity to demonstrate these gifts from another world, another
dimension. They are performing acts and miracles, as we would call
them, that Jesus once demonstrated when he walked the Earth amoung
us, 2000 years ago. Lessons we are now ready to learn and accept.
These children advocate peace and healing from within and are beginning
to show us ways that we can change and create a cleansing of our planet
and develop the technology where we can continue to exist without
depleting our natural resources. They are teaching us how to recycle
and how to live with each other and within the precious balance of
nature. They show us how easy it is to forgive others by forgiving
us when we make mistakes and judgments based on our current level
of awaremenss. They have no fear and this in itself scares the majority
of the people. But in their faith and courage, they will step forth
in leading us into another way of being.
The Indigo
Revolution has come and gone, and the Crystal Age, has begun.
The “Christ Consciousness” within,
has finally come!
We will adapt and we will survive. Not only will we survive but we
will come together in our Oneness and begin to honor and cherish our
individual connection to our Prime Creator and begin to live in this
new world where peace and harmoney will reign. Bless these children
and the new ways that they bring. Rejoice in this new way of being
and celebrate this time in history that will chnage our future world
forevermore.
Fear not change!
Become as “children” in
school again and do not be afraid to express your ideas and
unique self, for this time you will be honored and valued in your
creation and contribution. We all will be chosen students who will
receive only good marks at the top of our page! It is the pedagogy
of a new age, a new paradigm, a new way of being one with our Creator
and one with all! We are the children of the most high!
