White Horse Milk Hill of June 7: confirming the reality of ancient knowledge

In an elegant three-dimensional crop picture that appeared on June 7 at White Horse Milk Hill, the apex height of the Great Pyramid from Egypt was set equal to the diameter of a circle, partly enclosing its base. That picture was apparently intended to confirm for us the reality of ancient knowledge!

Thus the height of the Great Pyramid equals 5813 inches, while each of its four sides extends for 9131 inches at its base. If the square perimeter of that pyramid (4 x 9131 = 36,524 inches) is then divided by twice its height (2 x 5813 = 11,626 inches), the result is 3.14159 or pi.

"If one divides the Great Pyramid's square perimeter by twice its apex height, one obtains pi accurate to 0.04%. Could such an accurate and elegant relationship be just mere coincidence?" See www.math.washington.edu/~greenber/PiPyr.html for a balanced academic discussion of that important issue.

Just noticed a similar illustration of the Great Pyramid from East Field on June 21, 2001, that tells a similar story to the new one which appeared on June 7, 2007 at White Horse Milk Hill.

Both of those crop pictures tell us schematically: "If you go halfway around the base (2e) of the Great Pyramid in Egypt, then that would be analogous to the full circumference of a circle, whose diameter equals its apex height (h)."

The architectural relationship shown there remains accurate to six digits after 5000 years.

The Milk Hill "Aurora"

As to be expected, the first formation in wheat this summer (not counting the little simple circle at Yatesbury), is a bit rough, but quite intriguing.

It seems to be a combination of the 1997 Danebury Triad, and the 2005 Triangle Optical Illusion -- with the triangle has morphed into a pyramid. For the fun of it, I’m calling this one The Aurora, for the wonderful (NOT!) wedge-shaped American spy plane, because the six little circles suggest jet engines.

This is a still-frame from the aerial video that I shot late on the first day, during the very last traces of sunlight. I had to use a lot of Photoshop to bring up the contrast, and while I was at it I erased the tramlines because, being slightly off centre and at an angle, they were interfering with the design considerably in my humble opinion (view other ‘Connector picture to see the tramline).

This was only my second flight of the summer, and I also caught up with other circles which have appeared recently -- which will be posted soon.

We went to tour the latest circles reported on cropcircleconnector.com today. First we visited the "spaceship-like" formation at Milk Hill. Having seen the aerial photographs, I had expected its curved "leading edges" to be caused by a dip in the field. However, as the attached photographs reveal, a close inspection revealed the formation's haphazard edges. It seems this irregularity is caused by more than just the youth of the crop springing it back up. Also, Mog doused the formation and found there was only any energy response at its base - and then the energy was very male. Putting all these factors together we left very suspicious of the authenticity of this crop circle. (08062007)
